OK so I just got this an hour ago and immediately tried it. It cut my bread so well (but I need more practice), it’s sharp, the knife was really stable when cutting. It feels solid and looks great. Like I say, I just got it so can’t review it long term just yet, but just from my first experience… absolutely amazing.

Left handed or right, this knife works well cutting a loaf of Italian bread for the family. It is sharp so keep it out of reach of the children. It washes up nicely by hand. I don’t recommend dishwasher as the handle is wooden.

That’s nice is decently sharp. I got it to use with my homemade sourdough, which can be very difficult to cut through that bottom crust. I would say this doesn’t all right job probably a little better than my bread knife that came with my knife block. I really wish that it had some type of guard for storing it.

I really like this knife. It’s a true bread knife with a proper serrated edge that’s much better than the “bread” knife that came with my high-quality knife set. The price is fair for the quality, and I’m pleased with my acquisition.
The marking on the knife’s bow helps keep my bread slices even. It took a few swipes to get used to the rhythm of using the knife with the marks, but I got the hang of it fairly quickly.
I saw a few mentions from folks that the wood handle prevents putting it in the dishwasher… but one shouldn’t be washing knives in the dishwasher anyway. Wipe down the blade with a wet cloth or sponge and dry with a towel. It takes about 30 seconds. 🙂
I hang my knife from a hook on the side of the cabinet above my breadbox, which keeps the blade and my fingers safe from trying to dig it out of the catch-all utensil drawer.
